1. Scope and publisher
This policy applies to the YAP mobile app and the HAOS Games website. HAOS Games is the public developer brand for YAP; the verified legal developer is identified in the Google Play listing and purchase receipt.

2. Information stored on your device
Player names, avatar choices, selected squads, local scoreboards, achievements, game statistics, language, theme, sound and haptic settings are stored locally. YAP does not upload player names, spoken answers, clues, drawings or guessed colors as part of normal gameplay.
You can remove local data from inside the app, by clearing its storage, or by uninstalling it. Uninstalling also removes local profiles and statistics unless your device restores them from a system backup.
3. Purchases and YAP+ verification
Google Play processes payments. HAOS Games does not receive your full card details. To verify or restore YAP+, the app may send the package name, product identifier and Google Play purchase token to a secure verification service. Verification records may include the purchase state, expiry time and a one-way technical identifier used to prevent fraud and restore access.
4. Ads and consent
The free version may use Google AdMob for rewarded ads and limited interstitial ads at natural breaks, never during an active round. Where required, Google's consent form is shown before ads are requested, and ad privacy choices can be reopened from Settings.
Depending on your choices and region, Google may process device, advertising, diagnostic and approximate-location information under its own policies. YAP+ members do not receive YAP gameplay ads.
5. Crash reports and anonymous app analytics
YAP may use Firebase Crashlytics to receive technical crash information, such as the app version, device and operating-system details, error type, stack trace and time of failure. Crash reporting can be disabled in Settings where the option is available.
Anonymous product analytics are optional. If enabled, YAP sends a small set of events such as app opened, game started or completed, and purchase verification result. Player names, answers, clues and drawings are excluded. We use this information to find broken flows and understand which games need improvement—not to build advertising profiles.
6. Website analytics
haosgames.com may use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand aggregate page views, visits, referral sources and website performance. It is a privacy-focused measurement service designed without cross-site tracking, fingerprinting or analytics cookies. Messages you send to support are separate from anonymous website statistics.
7. Providers and international processing
- Google Play for distribution, billing and subscription management.
- Google AdMob and its consent platform for ads and privacy choices.
- Firebase Crashlytics for optional stability diagnostics.
- Cloudflare for website hosting, security and website analytics.
- Google Cloud for secure purchase verification and app services.
These providers may process technical data in countries other than yours under their own safeguards and privacy terms.
8. Retention, security and requests
App telemetry is kept only as long as needed to investigate stability and aggregate usage, with a target retention period of 90 days unless a longer period is required for security or legal reasons. Purchase records may be retained longer to prevent fraud, restore access and meet legal obligations. Data in transit is protected with HTTPS.
To ask about access or deletion of server-held information, contact support. Because YAP has no user accounts, we may need your Google Play order number to locate a purchase without knowing your in-game identity. Never send a password, full payment-card number or raw purchase token.
9. Age, changes and contact
YAP is intended for people aged 16 and over and is not directed to children. We may update this policy as features or providers change. The effective date at the top will be updated when that happens.
